I shall sheepishly report this to a very good friend who lives there as I frequently make unfavorable comments to her about Seattle's weather, etc. as compared to Los Angeles. In that same vein, I attended your book-signing in Pasadena, and was sorry to see such a poor turnout. I wonder if we set the record for fewest attendees ever! A dubious distinction I hope we've avoided. Please remember that this is the land of the lotus-eaters and therefore, perhaps, you'll not hold it against us. In any event, your presentation, in spite of the small group, which must have been disappointing to you, was excellent! I look forward to reading Sacred Hearts.
